Special Projects & Special Topics

As previous Dean of Education at Oglala Lakota College, I had the opportunity to assist with the review and approval of Special Projects and Topics courses.  Special Programs include the coursework offered leading to a terminal degree and align with OLC's programs. Special topics courses include areas outside of the degree program and which credit hours can be applied through OLC.  As noted below, the dates of many of these articulated agreements is not available at this time. Most have been filed away at OLC's archives. 

• Oglala Lakota County Schools
• Credit hours for professional development for teachers for special programs and special topics.
• Credit hours granted for sessions at the Lakota Nation Invitational based on conference participation.
• Credit hours granted for sessions at Bilingual Education Conferences based on conference participation.
• Tiyospa Zina
• Had used Oglala Lakota Colleges degree program in Special Education to certify teachers within their school system.
